Spill the Tea: Black LGBTQ+

"Spill the Tea" chats are a way for the diverse members of our community to be visible and heard connecting through real life stories and experiences.

This first "Spill the Tea" will be a discussion with Pride President Chris Gosses and Pride board member Stacy Oden, and will welcome Akasha Karmichael and AJ Flemming in on the conversation.

"We at Rainbow Pride of WV value diversity and inclusivity. We bring people together to celebrate the LGBTQ+ & Allied Community and right now so many people who make up our community are hurting.

We're not only here for our celebration, we are also here to empower our audience to have deeper conversations about how we move the collective direction forward together.

Our platform is to educate the people of our community and we are committed to learning, growing and providing one another with the resources to create a better future for all.

We can all do our part individually by having difficult discussions and sharing information responsibly to make others more aware to what injustices or hardships other folx are facing.

While PRIDE is transitioning, we also encourage our community to grow with us as we make our world a better place for all who fall within our spectrum of love.

We are committed to making a positive impact on our community, leading by example and being a place for folks to connect and share, learn and grow.
